Floating Flooring & Carpet Maintenance Technician- Multifamily Properties

Job Title: Floating Flooring & Carpet Maintenance Technician (Multi-Family)
Location: Peoria, Tempe, Phoenix, and Glendale, AZ
Compensation: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour, DOE

Overview:
We are a fast-growing, privately-owned real estate company seeking a skilled Floating Flooring & Carpet Maintenance Technician to support multiple multi-family residential communities across the Phoenix metropolitan area. This hands-on role is ideal for a technician with strong experience in flooring, carpet installation, and general property maintenance. Your troubleshooting and repair expertise will help ensure our communities operate at the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Remove and install carpets, vinyl, wood, and other flooring types

· Complete interior/exterior repairs, including walls, windows, doors, and gates

· Address plumbing issues such as leaks and clogs

· Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring or fixture damage

· Apply preventive maintenance measures such as sealing flat roofs

· Identify and resolve potential safety hazards

· Paint interior and exterior areas as required

· Lubricate locks, hinges, doorknobs, and gates

· Maintain cleanliness in communal areas (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming)

· Dispose of trash and debris from shared spaces

· Maintain inventory and ensure supply availability

· Conduct regular checks of fire safety equipment and exits

Required Qualifications:

· Minimum 3 years of experience as a property or apartment maintenance technician

· Proven experience with flooring and carpet removal/installation

· Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods

· Attention to detail and manual dexterity

· Strong organizational and communication skills

· Flexibility to work weekends as needed

· Must be comfortable working across multiple locations within the region
