Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Process cash and credit transactions swiftly and accurately.
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience.
- Prepare food items as needed, adhering to food safety standards and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and cashier stations throughout your shift.
- Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels as required.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or grocery store setting is preferred.
- Strong upselling skills to enhance customer orders effectively.
- Knowledge of food service practices, including food handling and preparation techniques.
- Proficiency in retail math for accurate transaction processing.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurants.
