JOB TITLE:Team ManagerREPORTS TO: Store General Manager, Regional Manager and CEOLOCATION: Friendly Pets - Lee NHCOMMITMENT: 40 hours per week on siteSUMMARY: The Team Manager is a leader in the store. The TM executes all decisions all directives given, and is responsible for the growth of all employees within the store. The TM should continually be thinking of a succession plan for all positions as well as working with the support team.This role involves on-the-job experience and training. The candidate will start in the sales associate role and learn the management job functions over 90 days.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:3 years of retail management experienceKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Strong Interpersonal communication skillsTeam Management and Leadership skillsExperienced with creating a team scheduleKnowledge of State and Local employment lawsCapable of working independently and delegating tasks to accomplish company initiatives.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Established Employees:Observe where people need additional training/ helpGive the employees opportunities to work on their development areas with guidance (less hands on then a new hire)Actively works with associate managers to develop and further their training, and communicates any strengths, deficiencies, or areas of concern to the store manager.Actively assessing and growing all employees continually and taking necessary steps to ensure developmentOperationalBeing able to give training confirmations, verbal and written warnings.
