Key Responsibilities
- Process vehicle title and registration documents accurately and in compliance with New York State DMV requirements.
- Review paperwork for accuracy, completeness, signatures, lien information, and required supporting documentation.
- Maintain organized title, registration, inventory, and vehicle records for new and used vehicles.
- Manage electronic documents and help ensure office records are complete, accurate, and easy to access.
- Assist with accounts payable, vehicle accounting, deal processing, inventory control, and other accounting office tasks as needed.
- Communicate professionally with customers, banks, DMV offices, sales staff, and management regarding title, registration, and office matters.
- A friendly, outgoing, and professional personality.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced office environment.
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and customer service skills.
- Comfort using computers and learning dealership systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and accuracy.
- Previous automotive dealership, DMV, title clerk, Verifi, Automate DMS, accounting office, or accounts payable experience is helpful but not required.
- Competitive salary of $36,000.00 - $49,900.00 per year, based on experience.
