The Friendly Home is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a full-time basis. This position offers flexible scheduling with evening shifts available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and health monitoring for our residents
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.
- Monitor resident health status and promptly report any changes to the appropriate medical providers
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in resident records.
- Collaborate with C.N.A's , medication technicians, and clinical managers to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in care planning and resident assessments as needed
- Ensure compliance with all facility policies as well as state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatric care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team
- Compassionate approach to resident-centered care
