Friendly Center is seeking a Part-Time Event Coordinator to help plan and execute our fundraising and community events, including our annual gala and golf tournament. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate fundraising and special events from start to finish
- Manage event timelines, logistics, vendors, and budgets
- Support sponsor fulfillment, guest registration, and on-site event execution
- Coordinate volunteers and troubleshoot event-day needs
- Collaborate with Marketing and Development staff on event materials and promotion
- Assist with post-event follow-up and reporting
Qualifications
- 2 years of event coordination experience (nonprofit or fundraising events preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working with vendors, donors, and volunteers
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Proficient with basic office and digital tools
- Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 25 lbs
