About the Role
This is more than a retail sales position. As a Luxury Jewelry Sales Professional, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients celebrate engagements, anniversaries, milestones, and life's everyday moments with confidence and excitement. You'll guide customers through fine jewelry purchases, custom design consultations, estate treasures, and repair services while building relationships that extend well beyond a single transaction.
Success in this role comes from curiosity, drive, authenticity, and exceptional follow-through. If you enjoy listening, educating, and creating personalized experiences rather than delivering scripted sales pitches, you'll thrive here.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and returning clients, serving as a trusted advisor over time
- Guide clients through fine jewelry, engagement rings, estate pieces, heirloom selections, and luxury purchases with confidence and care
- Consult on custom design projects, translating client vision, sentiment, and inspiration into finished, meaningful pieces
- Manage repair intake with accuracy, professionalism, and proactive communication from start to completion
- Follow up consistently and intentionally to deepen client relationships, strengthen loyalty, and drive repeat business
- Maintain an exceptional level of product knowledge across diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, designer collections, and estate jewelry
- Present merchandise with precision, polish, and an elevated attention to detail that reflects a luxury environment
- Collaborate closely with a team committed to delivering a consistently best-in-class client experience
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of fine jewelry or luxury retail sales experience preferred, with demonstrated success in relationship-based selling
- Jewelry credentials such as DCA, AJP, or GIA certifications (strongly preferred)
- Experience working with estate and antique jewelry strongly preferred, including the ability to confidently present, explain, and position unique or one-of-a-kind pieces
- Proven ability to build trust, develop long-term client relationships, and cultivate repeat and referral business
- Strong communication skills with excellent organization, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through
- A polished, professional, and service-driven presence that reflects a luxury retail environment
- Genuine passion for fine jewelry, craftsmanship, and delivering a highly personalized client experience
- Self-motivated and accountable, with a collaborative mindset and commitment to team success
- Comfortable navigating nuanced client conversations around value, sentiment, and legacy pieces such as estate and heirloom jewelry
- A natural ability to listen deeply, identify client needs, and elevate the buying experience through thoughtful guidance
