Personal Injury Attorney

The role has a base and generous variable compensation structure.

Job Summary

Our client, an award winning law firm in Rhode Island law is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join their growing team.

This leader will play a key role and will set the direction for the team-oriented culture as we strive to exceed clients’ expectations by providing extraordinary legal care.

What you’ll be doing:

· Personally handle a file load of personal injury and medical malpractice cases

· Extensive client interaction , from intake through case resolution

· Prepare demands and negotiate successful resolutions on behalf of clients

· Attend and advocate for clients at hearings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trial

· Independently research, interpret and apply legal principles in the context of motion practice and litigation

· Attend and participate in weekly team meetings relating to the evaluation and advancement of injury and malpractice cases

· Work collaboratively with senior attorneys in litigating complex medical negligence and serious injury cases

· Active involvement in all phases of client representation from intake, initial office conferences, case development, demand, negotiation, and case resolution

· Fully licensed to practice law in Rhode Island. Licensing in Massachusetts, and/or Connecticut is a plus

· Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus

Schedule:

· Monday to Friday in Providence office. Opportunity for hybrid schedule once fully onboarded.

· Periodic night and weekend availability

Experience:

· Personal injury law: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

· Bar (Required)

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
