What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk/Receptionist position at Freya's Lair Medical Spa?
Seeking an experienced, well-organized, motivated individual to help with front desk, administrative duties, and social media of a busy and exciting Medical Spa in Albuquerque, NM.
Job Duties Include:
- Answering multiple phone lines and screen incoming phone calls in a professional manner. Handle patients with a positive attitude at all times
- Ensuring the client checkout process is completed with strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy
- Rebooking clients for their next visit during checkout
- Follow established procedures and routines to ensure consistency
- Keep the lobby area clean and organized to make a good first impression on our clients
- Ensure the highest standards are upheld to give our clients the best experience possible
- Learning about our products and services to answer client questions
- Manage and oversee the direction and flow of patients to ensure the daily schedule runs efficiently and on time.
- Ensure patient information is updated, accurate and complete in EMR (an electronic medical record).
- Keep front reception area and exam rooms organized, clean, and well-stocked.
- Ensure restrooms, waiting areas, kitchen, and front desk areas are clean and tidy at all times.
- Operate e-fax, printer, scanner
- Respond to incoming patient inquiries via email and phone calls
- Collection of patient’s medical information
- Disburse mail and packages
- Confirm patient appointments daily
- Ensure the office is properly stocked with brochures and office supplies
- Participate in in-office events and seminars outside regular business hours
- Arrive on time and stay until finished with the current patient(s)
- Knowledge of products, procedures, and services Freya's Lair provides
- Continue education of products, procedures, and services Freya's Lair provides
- Stay up to date on current product/services specials, prices and packages offered by Freya's Lair
- Maintain proper dress code
- Assist in maintaining company social media platforms
Job Qualifications:
- Must have great over the phone customer service skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer focus with a caring attitude
- Exceptional computer skills including knowledge of Excel, Word, and EMR.

- A history of excellence in communication: active listening, & problem-solving
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team - required
- Must manage a patient tracking system that is updated daily
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
