Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into precise, high-quality components through various fabrication techniques. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of complex assemblies and structures, ensuring they meet strict specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components and assemblies
- Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials
- Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and
welding techniques to join metal parts securely - Utilize calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure precision and adherence to specifications
- Read and interpret schematics for ductwork, piping, mechanical assemblies, and structural components
- Conduct rigging, pipe threading, soldering, and assembly of fabricated parts according to safety standards and project requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols related to ASME codes & standards and other industry regulations
Qualifications
- Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background with a strong understanding of fabrication processes
- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, press brake operation, and
welding techniques - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge related to ductwork fabrication, pipe threading, machining operations, soldering, and assembly processes
- Experience working with sheet metal, structural steel, or similar materials in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
