Production Supervisor - 1st shift
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate production team members to achieve safety, quality, and output targets
- Execute and monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to standards
- Champion a strong safety culture by enforcing policies and proactively addressing risks
- Quickly resolve operational issues, including equipment or workflow disruptions, to minimize downtime
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, supply chain) to ensure smooth operations
- Train and develop employees, supporting onboarding and ongoing skill growth
- Communicate shift performance, challenges, and priorities through effective shift handoffs and reporting
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost performance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of production processes and equipment operation.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and quality control standards.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
