Supply Chain Specialist
Responsibilities
- Order Processing & Data Management: Receive and verify customer orders, pricing, freight terms, and credit terms. Enter and manage orders in SAP, ensuring timely and accurate data handling.
- Customer Service & Relationship Building: Act as the company’s representative for customer inquiries about stock levels, shipment schedules, product pricing, and non-technical product support to maintain strong partnerships and adherence to SLAs.
- Inventory & Demand Management: Collaborate with production planners to set and confirm ship dates for customer orders; monitor backorders, aged inventory, and release of held lots to fulfill pending orders.
- Sales Support: Support sales initiatives with price analysis and adjustments; assist in setting up new customer profiles in ERP, verifying tax statuses, and coordinating credit applications with Accounting.
- Quality & Compliance: Adhere to ISO9001 / TS16949 / IATF16949 and internal standards by ensuring accurate, up-to-date records and participating in efforts to minimize Customer Complaint Records (CCRs).
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and report on performance indicators including order accuracy, on-time shipment rates, and compliance with ISO procedures to ensure continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a customer service or administrative role
- Proficiency in data entry with Excel and ERP systems (experience with SAP preferred) for order processing, pricing management, and inventory control.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions under stress, and identify opportunities to streamline customer service processes.
