Responsibilities
- Lead & Supervise: Guide hourly production staff to ensure efficient operations and achievement of daily goals.
- Drive Quality & Performance: Monitor product and process standards, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to meet targets.
- Ensure Safety & Cleanliness: Promote a safe, organized work environment through regular safety checks, meetings, and housekeeping standards.
- Develop & Empower Teams: Mentor operators to build ownership, accountability, and a collaborative team culture.
- Maintain Equipment: Oversee equipment upkeep and coordinate preventive and emergency maintenance to maximize utilization.
- Optimize Resources: Manage workforce scheduling, monitor production/testing data, and utilize labor effectively during both production and downtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to align teams toward common goals.
- Proven ability to quickly analyze and resolve complex situations.
- Technical understanding of manufacturing processes; experience with nonwovens, winding, or extrusion is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and payroll systems (ADP) is a plus.
- Willingness to work a DuPont schedule (rotating 12-hour shifts).
