Position: Registrar
Reports to: Site Principal
Supervises: None
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Excellent verbal communication in person and over phone.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word; ten-key.
- Must be adaptable to online software applications and technology innovations.
- Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Position Goal: To perform such actions as required to establish a true, accurate, and permanent record of each student who attends Jenks Freshman Academy.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Official recorder of grades and test scores on transcripts.
- Maintenance of all transcripts/permanent records.
- Coordinate necessary reports and corrections with Data Processing to facilitate accurate transcript and grade reporting.
- Coordination and communications with the Alternative Center, Nurse, special services, Warehouse, Enrollment Center and other offices as necessary for all incoming records.
- Responsible for new students process: build cumulative folder, transcript, and permanent record for all new students.
- Translate, interpret and record all incoming records.
- Mail out official records, as requested, on all withdrawn students.
- Maintain a “Records Requested” list and complete the state drop-out reports.
- Maintain “Current Holds” list.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Employment Terms: Twelve (12) month classified hourly contract
