The Receiving & Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying and organizing inventory, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that materials and products are properly received, stored, and tracked. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
· Accurately record received items in the Warehouse Management System.
· Label and organize inventory in designated storage areas.
· Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
· Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
· Assist in inventory transfers, stock adjustments, and returns as needed.
· Ensure safe and compliant handling of materials per OSHA and company guidelines.
· Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) as trained.
· Maintain a clean and organized receiving and inventory area.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
