Job Summary: The Store Manager will plan and lead the daily operations of an assigned supermarket in an ongoing effort to increase store sales and profitability. Supervisory Responsibilities: · Oversee the daily workflow of the store. Schedules and assigns staff to ensure efficient operations and optimal customer experience. · Recruits, hires, and trains staff. · Direct and lead store department managers in the operations of each individual department. · Implements discipline and termination of employees by partnering with their District Manager as needed and in accordance with policy. Duties/Responsibilities: · Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and experience on an ongoing basis. · Ensures consistent, efficient, pleasant customer experiences; resolves any customer service issues, complaints, or requests. · Continually seeks and identifies methods to increase store sales and profitability; makes recommendations and/or implements changes as appropriate. · Develops milestones and goals for employees and ensure they are met. · Collaborates with corporate staff to develop and implement sales goals, marketing strategies, and promotions. · Ensures physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the store. · Supervise and report all inventory numbers for store departments. · Assesses periodic financial reports, evaluating performance and implementing improvements and changes as required. · Performs other related duties as required.

Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent.
· At least five years of experience in retail management, preferably in grocery, with increasing levels of responsibility required.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
· Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the supermarket.
Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
