Fresh Start Counseling Services is currently seeking an experienced Substance Abuse Counselor. The counselor will conduct assessments, treatment plans, group and individual sessions and discharge sessions.
Primary shift is from 3-9pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays from 9-4pm between the Merrillville and Hammond offices.
Bilingual a plus but not a requirement.
Certification and/or Licensing is preferred but not required: CADAC, LAC, LCAC, LMHC, LMFT, MSW, LSW, PhD and/or a degree in a related field.
Applicants may also possess entry level certification, a degree or experience in counseling or assisting people with addictions.
Previous experience is required.

Salary: Wages start at $13 and will increase based on experience and certification/licenses after training.
