COMMERCIAL CLEANING SUB-CONTRACTOR

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and "RELIABLE" Commercial Cleaning Sub-Contractor to join our dynamic team. Subcontractor Requirements:

• Must have your own professional cleaning equipment and supplies
• Reliable vehicle
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• General liability insurance (required)
• Strong communication and reliability
• Business license in hand

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and maintained to high standards
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, and waxing to preserve flooring integrity and appearance
• Carry out janitorial duties including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restocking supplies to keep facilities organized and hygienic
• Utilize custodial equipment effectively, including vacuums, buffers, extractors, and cleaning chemicals, following safety protocols at all times
• Support facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including light repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention
• Maintain detailed records of completed tasks and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel

Experience

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and floor care procedures such as buffing and stripping floors
• Experience with facilities maintenance or porter roles is advantageous
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety standards is essential
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in residential painting or industrial cleaning can be beneficial but is not mandatory
