Job Summary

Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Execute specialized floor care including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects and facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall building operations
- Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas by regularly sanitizing surfaces and ensuring safety standards are met
- Support minor repairs or maintenance tasks related to janitorial equipment or facility fixtures
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, floor scrubbers, and vacuums effectively
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks and basic repair skills is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
