THE ROLE
The Managing Partner is the ‘first in command’ in each of our restaurants and is the ultimate leader on the floor. The Managing Partner reports to one of our Regional Partners. You oversee both the FOH and BOH and you’re just as comfortable in the kitchen as you are out front with guests — because at FK, great leadership lives in both spaces. You have a proven track record of knowing how to lead a high-performing team, balance operations, and develop yourself and others for what’s next. The Managing Partner goes beyond daily operations — you think ahead, set the tone for our culture. develop remarkable teams, and ensure that every decision, shift, and guest interaction reflects FK’s values and long-term vision.
THE BASICS
Here’s how you’ll make an impact as a Managing Partner:
- Run exceptional shifts every day by leading:
- Team check-ins and daily readiness
- MOD tasks and line checks
- Energizing pre-shifts and real-time coaching
- Smooth transitions and strong shift closes
- Maintaining high food quality standards along with production levels by leading strong BOH and FOH execution.
- Own hiring, training, development, and retention for your team.
- Manage scheduling and daily operations in your Area of Responsibility (AOR).
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and service standards that wow our guests.
- Build positive, high-performing teams through clear communication and accountability.
- Support the growth of future leaders — Certified Trainers and Hourly Shift Leaders.
- Keep your team informed, aligned, and inspired.
RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- 5 years leading teams in high-volume restaurants, with hands-on culinary leadership experience.
- Passion for food and hospitality (culinary experience is ideal but not required).
- Comfort in the kitchen and with guest interaction.
- Intrinsic motivation and a high standard of excellence.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Calm, professional presence under pressure.
- Coachable, curious, and eager to grow others.
- Proficiency with POS, scheduling, and reporting tools.
- ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Successful background check (required).
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time (8-10 hours per shift) and work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures
