Job Summary
FRESH IDEAS is hiring an energetic and growth-minded Assistant Director of Dining Services on the campus of ROCKFORD UNIVERSITY! This key F&B position is responsible for the successful operation of Campus Dining Services and Catering. The ADDS/Catering leadership role ensures client, customer service/satisfaction with efficient cost effective management that both meets and exceeds stated expectations. You will help oversee foodservice-related activities; including safety, quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and all client-related activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works with the Chef and management team in creating nutritious and top quality food.
- Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams.
- Maintains excellent relationships with the client.
- Manages, trains, and develops associates.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of food service management experience.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education.
- Extensive CATERING experience.
- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Financial experience and business acumen skills.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
- Associate’s degree is preferred.
