Delivery Driver / Vending Route Driver
Location: Rock Island / Quad Cities area
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Start Time: Start times vary between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM. The driver will choose the time slot that works best for them, and that will become their permanent scheduled start time.
Starting Pay: $16/hour during training
Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable Delivery Driver / Vending Route Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for completing daily vending routes, filling market and vending machines, tracking inventory, and providing reliable service to our customer locations.
The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, safety-focused, and able to work independently while following company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned daily vending and market routes
- Stock and refill vending machines and micro-market locations
- Deliver products to customer locations
- Complete route paperwork, inventory counts, and required reporting
- Track product usage and help maintain proper inventory levels
- Load and unload products safely
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized
- Report vehicle issues, product shortages, machine problems, or customer concerns
- Follow all company SOPs, safety protocols, and route procedures
- Provide professional and respectful service at customer locations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Clean criminal background
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move product throughout the day
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Must follow company safety procedures and standard operating procedures
- Previous delivery, vending, warehouse, or route experience is helpful but not required
Pay
Starting pay is $16 per hour during the initial 30-day training period. After the 30-day training period is completed, a performance evaluation will be conducted. Pay will then increase based on performance, reliability, attendance, ability to complete routes, inventory accuracy, and overall job performance.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
