Summary

• The Cannabis Cultivation Technician reports to the Cultivation Manager and is responsible for the production of plants and all aspects of growing.
• Essential Job Functions
• Propagate via seed germination and vegetative cuttings;
• Produce plants including propagation, potting, transplanting, irrigation, fertilizing/mixing nutrients, and harvesting;
• Maintain all feeding, watering, pH logs, and cultivation checklist to immediately resolve discrepancies;
• Scout plants daily for evidence of mold, or pests and taking immediate action to mitigate negative findings using an integrated pest management plan;
• Document daily cultivation activities and generating daily grow report;
• Ensure that all daily tasks are completed in a timely manner;
• Maintain a daily/weekly schedule;
• Maintain clean cultivation areas and all cultivation equipment;
• Maintain effective communication with the Cultivation Manager and Cultivation Team;
• Prepare soil mixes for planting of seed, plugs, rooted cuttings, and seedlings;
• Understand growing technologies including lights, irrigation, fertilizer, etc.;
• Climb up and down ladders daily to access all three tiers of plants being cultivated.
• Advise Cultivation Manager of the need to reorder supplies; and
• Any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Preferred Experience: Nursery/Greenhouse, Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscaping
• Education: Background in Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or cannabis cultivation experience
