The slitter operator is responsible for preparing the slit rolls for shipment to the customer.
Qualifications:
Perform visual inspections
Pull required samples/number samples and labels
Q. C. Database entry
Accessing and using e-mail/Intranet
Slitter set-up/hanging new master rolls
Splicing and removal of non-compliant material
Proper use of tension/contact controls
Placing material on hold
Completing paperwork
