Key Tasks
- Overseeing the development of the Site Implementation Management Plan (SIMP)
- Co-chairing working groups, conferences, and technical interchange meetings relevant to system implementation
- Developing implementation processes and workflows
- Developing and monitoring the execution of implementation schedules
- Reviewing implementation-related deliverablies (e.g., Site Survey Reports, Site Installation Plans, etc.) to ensure they meet contractual requirements
- Assigning task responsibilities to Contractor personnel supporting implementation activities
- Ensuring that the Contractor meets system delivery and implementation commitments
- Leading the Implementation portion of the Contractor's quarterly program reviews
- Identifying, assessing, and minimizing implementation risks
- At least 5 years of experience in similar role
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in installing, integrating and maintaining end user telecommunications equipment
- Ability to work independently and communicate progress/problems to appropriate personnel effectively
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical management and staff as well as customer management and staff
- Understanding of schematic and engineering drawings
- Understanding of government installation and acceptance processes and requirements
- Knowledge of basic PC hardware and software
