As we continue to scale, we’re seeking a Franchise Marketing Operations Manager to bridge marketing and operations—ensuring every franchisee launches strong, markets effectively, and maintains brand consistency system-wide.
Position Summary
The Franchise Marketing Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting franchisees through all stages of the marketing lifecycle—from pre-opening to ongoing operations. This role focuses on process management, vendor coordination, training, and marketing enablement, ensuring franchisees are equipped with the right tools, systems, and best practices to execute local marketing that aligns with national brand strategy.
This position reports into Operations and collaborates closely with the Marketing, Training, and Field Support teams.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Operations & Implementation
- Manage the end-to-end franchise marketing onboarding process, ensuring the timely setup of digital platforms (website location page, GBP, Yelp, CRM, etc.).
- Coordinate all marketing milestones alongside pre-opening and launch timelines.
- Support ongoing franchise marketing execution by providing access to approved tools, templates, and vendors.
- Oversee the Franchise Marketing Playbook and ensure updates are communicated clearly to the network.
- Track and report on franchisee marketing compliance, participation, and campaign performance.
Process, Systems & Vendor Management
- Develop and continuously optimize scalable marketing workflows, launch checklists, and operational processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with approved marketing vendors (e.g., SEO, Direct Mail, PR, digital ads, signage) to ensure franchisees receive consistent, high-quality service.
- Partner with Marketing and IT teams to manage franchise data and assets across marketing platforms and systems.
- Partner with the Brand Marketing team to ensure all franchise marketing assets are up-to-date and funnel franchise feedback back into Marketing.
Training & Franchisee Enablement
- Lead franchisee marketing onboarding sessions and training calls.
- Partner with the Training team to integrate marketing content into the LMS and the new franchisee training journey.
- Create easy-to-follow process guides, how-tos, and toolkits to simplify marketing execution for franchise owners.
- Serve as the operational point of contact for franchisee marketing questions, troubleshooting, and vendor introductions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing leadership to operationalize national initiatives for local execution.
- Work with Operations and Field Support to ensure marketing aligns with staffing, training, and opening timelines.
- Provide field feedback and insights to inform ongoing marketing improvements.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in franchise or multi-location systems.
- 2–3 years of operations experience within a franchisor or multi-unit brand.
- 3 years of experience working for a franchisor (brand-side expertise required).
- Strong understanding of franchise/local marketing systems, including CRM, SEO, digital ads, and brand reputation tools.
- Proven success managing projects, vendors, and workflows across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organization, and process-building skills.
- Proficient with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Google Business Manager, Whitespark, or similar platforms.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
