Dental Assistant – Part time
Are you a friendly, motivated Dental Assistant looking for a rewarding career in a positive and supportive dental office? Our growing multi-specialty practice is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team and help us provide exceptional care to our patients.
We offer General Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, and Pediatric Sedation services in a modern, fully digital and paperless office designed to help our team work efficiently and focus on patient care.
We are seeking a Dental Assistant who is passionate about providing outstanding patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time in the future.
Schedule:
- 2-3 days a week
- Potential to become full-time in the future
- No nights or weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during a variety of general dental procedures
- Take dental radiographs
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
- Set up and break down operatories
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Assist with impressions, temporary restorations, and other clinical duties as permitted
- Work collaboratively with dentists and team members to provide outstanding patient care
What We're Looking For:
- Dental Assistant experience preferred
- Ability to perform dental x-ray procedures accurately while following safety protocols; certification in dental radiography is preferred.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices including dental sterilization procedures, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection prevention and control expertise.
