The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is made up of 44 schools serving preschool-12th grade with approximately 33,000 students in grades TK-12. Requirements / Qualifications
2 Letters of Recommendation
Education: Include Transcripts, diplomas or certificates.
Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC) or Clinical Social Worker (CSW). Registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
(BBS) and working toward Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Has applied for the associate license with the BBS or will apply within 60 days of hire.
Experience:
Experience working with children or in an educational setting and knowledgeable about the social and emotional development of school-aged children and adolescents.

All applications and supplemental information will be reviewed to determine the candidates whose training and experience most closely match the requirements of the position. Those who pass the initial screening will be invited to participate in the testing process, which may include written, oral and/or performance exams. The testing results will determine the rank of the candidates from which an eligibility list is prepared. Selection will be made from the top three ranks on the list.
