The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is made up of 44 schools serving preschool-12th grade with approximately 33,000 students in grades TK-12. The District Office hosts twenty-three district level departments that serve the school sites. Requirements / Qualifications

Resume and Cover Letter 2 Letters of Recommendations (within 2 years of application date), at least one from administrator or supervisor. Copy of Transcript (ALL transcripts noting BA Degree (foreign transcripts have been evaluated for US equivalency by a CTC approved agency).) FULLY CREDENTIALED Teachers by July 11, 2026 (verified by a valid credential, program completion letter) One of the following CREDENTIALS / LICENSES: • Special Education Teaching Credential • Computer Science Teaching Credential • Licensed Occupational Therapist • Licensed Physical Therapist • Other Credential or License from a field related to Special Education, or Computer Technology Crosscultural, Language and Academic Development Certificate OR Other (English Learner Authorization ((i.e. BCLAD, CLAD, ELA1, ELAE, ELAM, ELAS, etc.))) Or one of the following: • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Valid Clinical Rehabilitation Services Credential • Master's Degree in Assistive Technology or Related Field DESIRED: • Assistive Technology Certificate • RESNA Certification

The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is located in the City of Fremont, California, within Alameda County. Fremont is part of the Bay Area, located Southeast of San Francisco and nestled near Silicon Valley. The following employment procedures will be followed: 1. Hiring staff review applications on file of those who possess the appropriate credential for the assignment. 2. Applicants for the specific assignments will be contacted for a scheduled interview. 3. Hiring staff will recommend candidates to Human Resources. 4. Human Resources staff will offer contracts after review of applicant's qualifications. 5. Applicants will report to Human Resources to complete employment papers, sign contract, and receive authorization documents to report to work. Since referral and hiring are done by Human Resources, applicants should not contact the department directly to request employment. Nondiscrimination in Employment The Governing Board is determined to provide district employees and job applicants a safe, positive environment where they are assured of full and equal employment access and opportunities, protection from harassment or intimidation, and freedom from any fear of reprisal or retribution for asserting their employment rights in accordance with law.
