What You'll Do

• Lead all daily body shop operations, including scheduling, workflow, production, and quality control.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team of technicians and support staff.
• Establish department goals, monitor key performance indicators, and manage the operating budget.
• Review repair estimates and ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Build strong relationships with customers, insurance adjusters, vendors, and internal departments.
• Coordinate parts availability and monitor repair progress to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
• Oversee department productivity, payroll, billing, and accounts receivable.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly while delivering exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and company safety standards.
• Maintain shop equipment and recommend improvements that increase efficiency and productivity.
• Keep the facility clean, organized, safe, and customer-ready.
• Support business growth through customer retention, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
• Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to the continued success of the dealership.

✅ What We're Looking For

• 3 years of body shop or collision repair management experience.
• Automotive management or collision repair training preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of collision repair processes, estimating systems, insurance claims, and vehicle components.
• Experience with estimating and shop management software.
• Parts department experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
• I-CAR, ASE, or other industry certifications are a plus.
