Job Summary
The Assistant Property Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall management and operations of residential or commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Assist the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of the property, including tenant relations and maintenance coordination.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws, including Section 8 and LIHTC guidelines.
- Manage tenant inquiries and concerns, employing effective conflict management strategies to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and documentation of tenant interactions, maintenance requests, and lease agreements.
- Utilize property management software for tracking tenant information, payments, and lease renewals.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure facilities are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
- Support marketing efforts to attract new tenants through various channels.
Requirements
- Knowledge of real estate administrative processes and property management best practices.
- Familiarity with laws related to property management, including Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 requirements.
- Experience in facilities management is preferred but not required.
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively address tenant issues.
- Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
