POSITION SUMMARY
Oversee and manage daily financial operations of the High School and Career Center. Key responsibilities include: cash handling, requisition entry, purchasing, running/maintaining financial reports, ensuring compliance with the district's purchasing policies and procedures. Provide excellent customer service to students, families, vendors, and staff. Work collaboratively across departments, and the school in general.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs office duties regarding public relations, clarifying and resolving office problems, and channeling complaints and needs for the students, parents, faculty, and staff, and the general public.
- Shares responsibility of the receptionist and host for the assigned office.
- Responsible for managing the building's budget and purchasing procedures with the principal while working closely with the business office. Maintains expenditure records as pertinent to the General Fund and Special Revenue.
- Verify and account for deliveries of merchandise by working closely with building staff and the warehouse.
- Acts as a liaison between staff, parents, students, and administration, in both verbal and written communications.
- Assists teachers and building administrators as needed in securing substitute teachers for teacher and applicable paraprofessional vacancies.
- Keeps accurate and up to date information and records on all students pertaining towards fines, fees, and school wide notifications.
- Maintains accurate records consistent with the needs of the school in the following systems: Software Unlimited (SUI), US Bank Access Online, and multiple School Information Systems (e.g. Thrillshare, PowerSchool, etc.).
- Uses a variety of computer programs/systems to enter student information, correspondence, and office records as assigned.
- Demonstrates the ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision, exercise initiative and good judgment, and make decisions within the scope of assigned authority.
- Have knowledge of all office equipment, fax machines, copiers, software applications, etc., and be able to troubleshoot problems and summon professional help when needed.
- Type and process all correspondence and all other material related to the assigned office.
- Demonstrates the ability to handle high purchasing volume in multiple funds while maintaining cleanliness of work.
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

Performance on this job will be evaluated by the School Principal or their designee in accordance with school board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of certified or classified personnel.
SALARY SCHEDULE
This position will be paid according to the approved Classified Administrative Support Salary Schedule.
