POSITION TITLE: Food Service Assistant
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalency required
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of child nutrition standards as related to the National School Lunch and Breakfast programs
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Lower body strength to stand, walk and bend throughout the day
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Complete tasks that are assigned by the supervisor.
- Appropriately clean all areas assigned.
- Effectively use equipment to perform job duties.
- Completes the required Child Nutrition Program Annual Training.
- Performs all duties in accordance with the USDA Child Nutrition Programs
- Be available to work the USDA Summer Food Program based on the district and community needs
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Reports to work at scheduled time appropriately groomed.
- Adheres to all school district rules & building rules & regulations.
- Utilizes proper hand washing and safety techniques.
- Completes other tasks as assigned.
