Automotive Contract Clerk

The contract clerk performs a wide range of administrative duties such as post new and used car deals in accounting, process payoffs, schedule reconciliations and vehicle documentation. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude. Working independently and as part of a team and understanding the importance of their work and how it affects the productivity of others. Responsibilities

• Process new and used vehicle contracts timely and accurately
• Verify the costs and transactions for each vehicle sale
• Review and ensure accuracy of all incentives, rebates, and sales tax in the deal
• Process all payoffs on trades, including any payoff differences
• Process and follow all necessary steps for rollbacks
• Journal daily bank funding
• Process aftermarket payments/cancellations
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Make accounting adjustments as needed and maintain clean schedules on a weekly basis.
• Performs other duties as assigned

The approximate pay range for this position is $23.00-$30.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Detail oriented and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Time management-ability to prioritize workload and manage one’s own time
• Computer skills, specifically Excel a plus.
• Must have minimum 2 years’ experience in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of CDK a plus.

Pay: $28.11 - $33.86 per hour
