As an intern for the Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable departments at Freixenet Mionetto USA, you'll dive into a hands-on experience, soak up knowledge from industry specialists, collaborate with our talented accounting team, and engage with various departments for a well-rounded, dynamic learning experience.
Internship Program Details:
- We are seeking an intern who can start immediately
- This is a full-time, paid internship lasting up to 6 months
- This is a hybrid internship: Work onsite in our White Plains, NY office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays
- Work hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. (40 hours/week)
What You’ll Do:
- Observe and support daily AP & AR operations within the department
- Assist the Accounts Payable team by coding and submitting invoices in Concur
- Collect vendor statements, reconcile accounts, and request invoice documentation
- Support documentation and organization of departmental SOPs
- Assist the AR team with applying incoming payments and collection efforts
- Observe and test new reporting capabilities and system changes
- Work closely with the Director of AP & AR on projects and special initiatives
- Assist with transitioning vendors from check payments to ACH, including verification processes
- Provide back up support and contribute to a variety of additional ad hoc projects as needed
Internship Requirements/Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree or Masters in Finance or Accounting, or a recent graduate
- Able to work onsite at our White Plains, NY office Monday through Thursday
- Can commit to a minimum of 6 months for the internship
- Legally able to consume alcoholic beverages in the state of NY
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive team player with a go-getter attitude
- Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
