What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician or Diesel Mechanic position at Freightliner of Hartford, Inc.?
We are looking for a full time diesel technician or mechanic with a minimum of three years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks. You need to have a general understanding of heavy duty truck systems along with an understanding about diesel engines and after-treatment devices. We are a certified training location for Freightliner and offer on the job factory training. We offer a great working environment and we are always looking for suggestions on how to improve our business. We have a monthly incentive program for our techs that could put an additional $1,000 per month in your pocket. Pay ranges from $25-$50 per hour based on experience.
