Role Description
The LTL Operations role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chattanooga, TN. This role is responsible for coordinating daily LTL shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries, monitoring transit status, and resolving service issues and claims with carriers and customers. The individual will collaborate with sales, dispatch, and warehouse teams to optimize routing, consolidate freight, and ensure on-time performance. Typical tasks include maintaining accurate shipment documentation, updating internal systems, analyzing carrier performance, and supporting customers with shipment inquiries and status updates. The role also involves identifying process improvements, supporting billing accuracy, and contributing to high service standards in line with FreightBase’s safety and reliability commitments.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Operations Management capabilities to manage LTL shipments, optimize routing, and interpret performance data.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Sales skills to collaborate with internal teams, support customers, and assist with service solutions that meet client needs.
