The Opportunity
At Freight Flex, we’re redefining what independence looks like in freight brokerage. Our Agency Division is growing fast, and we’re looking for an Agency Recruiter who understands the business not just recruiting, but the brokerage grind, the agent mentality, and how to build meaningful connections in the freight world.
If you’ve spent time behind the desk brokering freight and you know how to identify top-producing agents before they even say a word…. we want to talk.
Please note: this is a hybrid role located in Knoxville, TN, Charleston, SC, or Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process for independent freight agents and agency owners.
- Build and nurture a consistent pipeline through LinkedIn networking, marketing campaigns, and direct outreach (texting, email, DM, etc.).
- Partner with leadership to identify top-performing brokers ready for independence.
- Close new agencies per month through authentic relationship building and consistent follow-up.
- Represent the Freight Flex brand with professionalism, transparency, and enthusiasm.
What We Look For:
- Freight brokerage experience (you’ve been in the trenches dispatching, booking, or managing freight).
- Strong interpersonal skills, being able to help candidates discuss and navigate the transition from a W-2 to 1099 role.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn networking and content-driven outreach.
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing outbound activity daily.
- A natural connector who enjoys starting conversations and closing opportunities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
