- Identify and research potential customers including warehouses, 3PLs, distribution centers, and manufacturers.
- Qualify leads through calls, emails, networking, and industry outreach.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients within target markets.
- Present our warehouse labor services to decision-makers such as warehouse managers, operations directors, and logistics executives.
- Conduct discovery calls and site visits to understand customer needs and operational challenges.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and service plans tailored to customer operations.
- Close new business and support smooth onboarding of new accounts.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to support ongoing service needs.
- Serve as a point of contact during initial onboarding and coordinate with operations teams to ensure a successful launch.
- Gather customer feedback to help refine service offerings and identify new opportunities.
- Track industry trends in warehousing, labor services, 3PL operations, and supply chain labor demands.
- Monitor competitor services and pricing to support strategic positioning.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to the leadership team.
- Collaborate with operations and recruiting teams to align customer expectations with labor availability.
- 1β3 years of B2B sales, business development, or account management experience (logistics/warehouse industry preferred).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to sell value in a service-based environment.
- Understanding of warehouse operations, lumping services, or logistics labor (a plus).
