Full-time position | $30–$48 per flag hour (DOE) | Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus
What You’ll Do
• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C
• Perform routine maintenance services and comprehensive vehicle inspections
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues
• Apply strong hands-on skills to complete repairs efficiently and fix it right the first time
• Execute work specified on repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Identify and communicate additional repair needs to Service Advisors with accurate time estimates
• Complete warranty repairs in compliance with manufacturer specifications
• Maintain accurate documentation of all services and repairs performed
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Stay current with ongoing training and evolving automotive technology

What We’re Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of automotive technician experience required (heavy line and transmission experience preferred)
• Strong hands-on mechanical skills and deep knowledge of automotive systems
• Ability to diagnose issues accurately and complete repairs correctly the first time
• ASE and/or GM certifications preferred
• Must have your own tools and toolbox
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Effective communication and basic computer skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Schedule & Work Environment
• Monday–Friday full-time hourly position
• On site at Chapman Freeway Chevrolet in Tempe
• Occasional weekends as needed
• Work performed both indoors and outdoors
• Active role requiring physical work and frequent movement
