Freeman’s Auto & Tire has been serving families across Orange and Dutchess County for over 45 years. We’re a true family-owned shop that takes pride in doing the job right the first time. We’re looking for a skilled, high-level **Auto Technician** to join our Warwick location.
The Role
We need a technician who can confidently diagnose and repair complex issues — not just follow a checklist. You’ll work on a high volume of vehicles and be trusted to find the root cause of problems quickly and accurately so our customers get reliable repairs and a great experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose electrical issues, unusual noises, check engine lights, and drivability concerns
- Perform thorough inspections and accurate repairs
- Work efficiently in a busy shop environment
- Communicate clearly with service advisors so customers stay informed
- Take ownership of your work and stand behind the quality of every repair
Requirements
- Proven experience working in an automotive repair shop
- Strong diagnostic skills with electrical systems, noises, check engine lights, and drivability issues
- Must have your own tools
- NYS Inspection License preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Schedule
Monday–Friday half-day Saturday
