Objectives

The Facility & Ramp Maintenance position is responsible for preventative maintenance, by keeping the ground surfaces around all of the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft free of all Foreign Object Debris (FOD), such as tumbleweeds, blow-sand, snow, papers, etc. This position is responsible for all aspects of Facility & Ramp Maintenance to provide a comfortable, clean, and safe facility for customers, pilots, mechanics and employees.

Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for ensuring all projects are completed in a safe and timely manner as to not affect the customer or team member experience.
• Assist in strategic planning and execution of the weather-related seasonal changes and cleaning techniques caused by fair & foul weather.
• Conduct inspections of grounds & walkways by identifying maintenance and safety problems implementing corrective action as needed.
• Maintain OSHA Safety Standards and other policies and procedure of Million Air.
• Maintain a positive team oriented attitude. FOD Squad consists of 4 team members.
• Provide escort to visitors as assigned by Boeing management.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures & rules. No pictures are allowed of the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft parked on the Boeing ramp. PHONES / CAMERAS ARE SUBJECT TO CONFISCATION BY BOEING SECURITY.

Competencies

• Working knowledge of various types of equipment used
• Communicate with customers and employees in person, on phone, and through radio communications
• Must be able to interpret printed and computerized maintenance manuals.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by our insurance company (Requires clean driving record)
• Write legibly to complete forms/paperwork as required
  
  

Reporting Relationship

This position reports to the Lead FOD Squad team member, or FOD Boss.

Work Environment

This position works outside in all types of weather conditions with possible contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft. This position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.

Physical Demands

The Physical Demands Described Here Are Representative Of Those That Must Be Met By An Employee To Successfully Perform The Essential Functions Of This Job, To Include But Not Limited To

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds
• Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery
• Outside work in all types of weather conditions
• Position requires bending, lifting, walking, stooping, squatting and gripping
  
  

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a non-exempt position

This position is Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM TO 3:00 PM but may require occasional working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays.

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.

Education, Experience, And Eligibility Qualifications

• Equipment Operation (On-The-Job Training Available)
• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check

Pay

$16.74-$19.50 DOE
