We’re currently seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support one of the Partners at our firm. This is an in-office position designed for someone who can operate independently, stay organized under pressure, and deliver high-quality work on tight timelines.
Position Details
Title: Litigation Paralegal
Location: In Person - Parrish, Florida
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and prepare pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, deposition notices, and trial exhibits.
- Manage litigation files from inception through trial — including maintaining case calendars, tracking deadlines, and handling e-filings in both state and federal courts.
- Summarize medical records, depositions, and discovery materials.
- Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- Coordinate and organize materials for hearings, mediations, and trial.
- Support the assigned partner by anticipating needs and taking proactive steps to keep cases moving efficiently.
Qualifications
- Required: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in insurance defense.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Thorough understanding of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and e-filing requirements.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
