Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality focused Scheduler to join our team!
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Scheduler.
- Coordinates and schedules health center staff.
- Ensures adequate staffing coverage for the health center, manages call outs, and maintains shift coverage to meet the mandatory requirements of the facility staffing ratios.
- Reviews time off requests submitted by staff, and communicates with staff in a timely manner regarding accommodations.
- Posts employees schedules at minimum on a bi-weekly basis.
- Communicates employee status changes to Human Resources as needed.
- Assists nurse management with administrative and clerical tasks.
- Tracks attendance for staff; informs management of employees who have excessive tardiness or absences.
- Updates timecards with applicable corrections and ensures timecard exception forms are completed in compliance.
- Approves bi-weekly timecard process for payroll.
- May be required to fill in for open C.NA shifts (if properly credentialed).
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience with UKG or other scheduling software, preferred
- CNA, Preferred.
- Has CPR certification or receives CPR certification after hire.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, reads maps efficiently, and performs simple arithmetic.
- Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly and helpful attitude with the residents and staff members at all times.
- Has excellent observation and communication skills.
- Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
- Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling obligations- some weekend hours and evening hours.
- Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
- Has ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided.
- Must be proficient with using computers and have basic skills with computer platforms such as Word, Excel and scheduling applications.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
- Thrives in a team-oriented environment and works well with colleagues across functions.
