We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our sales manager and the sales team, assisting with daily office needs. Administrative Assistant responsibilities include preparing reports, managing open sales orders and purchase orders, and expediting. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Answer/direct phone calls.
- Write and distribute email.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Assist sales team in customer service activities including expediting and managing sales orders or purchase orders.
- Support sales manager with new initiatives and assigned projects.
- Manage internal processes in support of daily business activity.
Skills
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in customer service
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Prior CRM experience is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work and multi-task.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High School degree: additional qualification as an administrative assistant or in customer service will be a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
