Clerical Assistant (Part time). $20 to $25 per hour. Proficiency with Word for Windows, Excel, QuickBooks. Administrative, bookkeeping and various clerical tasks. Dress for success (business attire) at a professional office ($200 clothes shopping bonus after 2 weeks). Professional demeanor and communications skills, ability to write and compose basic business letters are important to us. 10 AM to 2 PM and until 4 pm on Friday. Salary commensurate with experience and skills.

Duties:

-maintain President’s newspaper clippings file

-Data input

-Filing Documents

-send Thank You Letters for donations made to (7) non-profit client organizations.

-accounts payable and receivables for several corporations.

Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

-Basic office skills.

Reception and phone answering (very low traffic).

Freedom Publishers Inc. provides creative and coordinating services – thus far solely with print production - for conservative, pro-freedom, pro-MAGA, national, non-profit organizations to "publish" (create, print, distribute via mail) newsletters, fund appeals, thank you letters, paperbacks (50 pgs.).

Since that was posted the paperback listed as “coming soon” (Make Red China Pay) has published, plus two more: (1) Summary of By the People? The 2020 U.S. Presidential Election and Theft of Americans’ right to Self-Rule, by Dr. Daniel Alan Brubaker, and most recently, Review of Mark Levin’s The Democrat Party Hates America by former State Rep. Gary Giordano (R-AZ). Over 2 million copies of our 7 titles are in circulation, the best Trump Calendar (4th year) for some of our 7 clients served by Freedom Publishers Inc.

We wish to emphasize that we are not looking for someone who will write these type of publications or promotional/selling copy (we have freelancers for that). Rather, we need help to “make the railroads run on time” working out of this office. Any writing you would do will be as a followup in working with suppliers and others on our team, most of whom do NOT work at our Ocala office. We mail a newsletter or fund appeal every week for each of seven national public policy organizations (ie. about 28 per month). The new Clerical Assistant will help make sure we stay on schedule (ie. American Conservative Agenda for example, might mail every Wed., so we cannot then, be 2 days late, we cannot mail 2 letters/newsletters, one on Mon. and the 2nd one of Wed.) to mail to the one "house" list. Usually, we want to mail once per five working days per client.

Job Type: Part-time

Your compensation: $20.00 to $25 per hour, based on your most recent compensation. possible raise of up to 20% within 90 days and promotion to Office Manager.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 10 to 2 pm (Friday until 4 pm), 22 hours total.
  • additional hours available if you perform well.
  • No weekends required.
  • Friday once a month, help with a meeting of Conservative Christian Club, and/or our annual Conference (on Sat.). administrative tasks, dinner and a speaker, meeting adjourns 9 pm Friday (begin 6 pm; this brings your total for that week, to 25 hours). The annual conference is all day Sat., adjourn 4 PM.

Experience:

  • Office work: 2 years minimum with proficiency in Word, Excel, QuickBooks.

Ability to Commute:

  • Your Ocala street address is required in your cover letter or resume). Should be within 15 minutes at most of our office, 2801 SW College Rd (next to the College of Central Florida), Ocala FL. Work location: In person. Must reside in Ocala. In-the-office work only.
