What are the responsibilities and job description for the RECEPTION/WARD CLERK position at Freedom Magnolia?
The Reception/Ward Clerk provides reception, administrative, human resources support, communication, and clerical services for the hospital. This position serves as a primary point of contact for patients, visitors, family members, vendors, healthcare providers, employees, applicants, and other individuals entering or contacting the facility.
The Reception/Ward Clerk also provides clerical support to the inpatient unit and assists with the accurate flow of information between Administration, Nursing, Human Resources, Intake, Medical Staff, Health Information Management, and other departments.
The Reception/Ward Clerk reports directly to the Administrator and assists the Administrator with designated Human Resources functions. The position requires a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, accuracy, organization, and customer service.
