What You Will Do Creating a Warm Welcome: Greeting our patients and pet parents with empathy and care, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and appreciated from the moment they walk in. Managing Hospital Communication: Serving as our front-line voice by answering multi-line phones and managing client and referring veterinarian emails. Coordinating Appointments: Proactively booking visits, scheduling follow-ups, and making outbound calls to keep our patient care on track. Handling Financial Transactions: Guiding pet owners through the invoicing and billing process with clarity and compassion, confirming estimates, and processing payments. Maintaining a Comforting Space: Keeping our reception lobby and common areas clean, tidy, and welcoming for both pets and their families. Supporting Our Clinical Team: Assisting our veterinary staff with treatments and tasks while eagerly learning new medical office procedures and veterinary skills. What You Bring Exceptional customer service skills with a natural ability to show empathy, comfort, and patience under pressure. Outstanding multitasking skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong sense of reliability. A genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for veterinary medicine and a desire to learn hands-on clinical support skills. Veterinary Assistant Office Administrative experience is welcome.
