Role Description
This is a full-time Consumer Loan Servicer role based in Springfield, Ma. The Consumer Loan Servicer will be responsible for processing loan closings, monitoring payments, handling customer inquiries, and assisting with loan document reviews. Additional duties include ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional member service.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Consumer Lending processes and loan servicing procedures
- Proficiency in customer service, with the ability to address questions and resolve issues effectively
- Attention to detail with exceptional organizational, data entry, and record-keeping skills
- Proficiency with common financial and banking software systems
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and credit union policies related to lending
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in the financial or lending industry is preferred
- Two to five years of financial operation experience with at least two years of experience in consumer loan servicing.
- Computer experience necessary with knowledge of credit union systems (Insight, etc.), Word and Excel.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
