Merchant Services Representative

Job Summary
Join our team as a Merchant Services Representative, where you will play a vital role in providing payment processing solutions to businesses, customer service, knowledge of payment systems, and troubleshoot issues and solutions to customers.

Duties

• Merchant Services Representative is responsible for providing payment processing services and solutions to customers.
• Assist with applications, verifying information, and opening merchant service accounts.
• Ensure that merchant service solutions align with operational needs.
• Acts as main point of contact for all merchant inquiries.
• Respond to questions, research and troubleshooting issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Assists with the set-up and maintenance of services and processing systems including supplies and advertising.
• Provide exceptional customer service to merchants.
• Communicate effectively on new service offerings or changes to merchant accounts.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Bank policies, procedures, and all banking regulations.
• Other duties and bank responsibilities may be assigned
• Utilize phone etiquette to engage with merchants professionally.
• Provide merchant service on-site call visits.
• Report merchant issues directly to supervisor through email.

Skills

• Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong communications skills to interact with merchants effectively.
• Ability to analyze merchant requirements and offer appropriate solutions
• Experience in sales, customer service, or related field.
• Skilled in data entry for maintaining accurate records.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• 1 - 2 years in merchant services or payment processing solutions

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
